Purchase an All-Access Shop Pass to Richard Childress Racing – an unforgettable experience for any race fan!
Start your morning off at the RCR Museum with Danny “Chocolate” Myers! While enjoying breakfast among the famed No. 3 GM Goodwrench cars, Chocolate will take you on a journey through RCR’s history. The RCR Museum is housed within the original 47,000 square foot RCR race shop. Chocolate will tell you first-hand stories from the early days all the way to today’s current teams. Following breakfast, you’ll get a guided tour of the RCR Museum and have the opportunity to see exclusive archives never shown to the public.
Upon conclusion of the museum tour, you’ll get to use that All-Access Shop Pass to get a guided, behind-the-scenes look at RCR’s NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series shop. You’ll go beyond the main shop floor, which is not typically view-able to the public, to see the depths of all facets of car development. From areas of body fabrication, to assembly and set-up of the cars, you’ll see how the RCR team members work together within the shop to prepare the cars you watch on race day.
The next stop will be at the RCR Pit Department. Members of RCR’s pit crews will show you an up-close view of the action that happens on pit road. You’ll experience a live pit stop demonstration and a Q&A session with the pit crew.
Last, but not least, your All-Access Shop Pass will gain you access to a building that is never open to the public: ECR Engines. ECR is responsible for the designing and building of engines for all RCR teams, in addition to several others in the NASCAR, ARCA, SCCA, and IMSA series.
